Athena Hahn

ATHENA HAHN

ARTIST STATEMENT

 

Athena H Hahn lives and works in Southern California.

 

Her latest project is a 5.5ft x 32ft mural for the Pomona Library.

 

As well as yearly exhibitions in galleries; Hahn has collaborated with musicians and writers, 

designed restaurants and developed product lines.

 

Locally, Hahn’s work has been exhibited at the Claremont Museum, 

The Ontario Museum and The Maloof Foundation.

 

Athena H Hahn was born in Southern California. She received her BFA in Art and Symbolic Systems from Pitzer College

 and her MFA from California State University at Fullerton. 

Hahn apprenticed with Artists: James Turrell, Carl Hertel, Paul Soldner and Bill Gersh among others. 

 

As Art Director and member of the Board of Directors for All One Tribe Drums, in Taos New Mexico. 

Hahn coordinated fundraising events between the local community, Taos Pueblo and the Intertribal Council; 

coordinating volunteers as well as, local and international musicians and artists.
